You didn't think Timo Glock losing 18 seconds in the last lap and being overtaken on the last corner was just a tad on the suspicious side?
Probably the most interesting race of the year though. Although it does mean we're going to be seeing the rather irritating Santander advert much more often.
Well perhaps the word unbelievable was used in a fairly deliberate way, but I don't really care. It made for an incredible bit of theatre; the looks on the faces of the Ferrari team celebrating their win then discovering the awful truth...! I never thought I'd see anyone looking as miserable as Massa did while standing on the top spot on the podium. And the Brazilian crowd were furious!
The point is I haven't been that excited by F1 since Damon Hill got that no.1 finish in that dreadful Arrows car, in Hungary I think? I was up, down, up, down and yelling from the sofa. Great race. And next year I may well pay a bit more attention to it all; it's been a long while since I did.
